Klas Government Unveils Next-Generation TrueTactical™ Technology at AUSA 2024:

Supporting C2 Fix / C2 Next Modernization

Klas Government is excited to present its next-generation TrueTactical™ technology at AUSA 2024. Visit us at the Marriott Marquis Washington, DC—Dahlia Room, Mezzanine Level, from October 14th to 16th, 2024 for live demonstrations of our Voyager family of systems. These plug-and-play communication and networking solutions are engineered with optimized Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) requirements to meet the demands of today’s mission.

As a proven performer serving the needs of Agencies across the Department of Defense, Klas Government continues to modernize its offerings to meet evolving end-user requirements, working closely with PEO C3T on initiatives such as NGC2, C2 Fix, C2 Next, Tactical Radio Integration Kit (TRIK), Integrated Tactical Network (ITN), and Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS). These programs support critical Army modernization efforts by improving command and control (C2) infrastructure across all levels. Our Voyager systems are designed for seamless integration, supporting real-time situational awareness, C2 modernization, and data sharing across platforms and echelons. Come learn more about how strategic programs are supported by Klas technology offerings:

Voyager Capabilities: Aligned with C2 Fix / C2 Next Modernization and DoD Programs

– Cross-Platform Integration: Voyager integrates with tactical radios, sensors, and data sources to provide a unified Common Operating Picture (COP), ensuring interoperability across Government units and agencies. This capability is essential to achieving the seamless, multi-domain operations outlined in C2 Next and NGC2. The Voyager Tactical Radio Integration Kit (TRIK-M) further supports communication integration between legacy and next-generation radios, directly addressing challenges identified in C2 Fix.

– Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) Connectivity: Voyager’s mesh networking and satellite communications ensure reliable data transmission, even in environments with limited line-of-sight or disrupted networks, which is a critical requirement for the NGC2 and C2 Next initiatives. These programs focus on ensuring resilient communication for distributed operations in contested domains.

– Rugged and Deployable Design: Voyager’s rugged construction allows for deployment in extreme environments, directly supporting the Army’s C2 Fix goals of modernizing equipment to ensure flexibility and adaptability in harsh conditions.

– Scalability & Modularity: Voyager supports open system architecture (OSA) and can scale vertically to meet the demands of various mission sizes and complexities. Its vendor-agnostic design and modular capabilities make it an ideal solution for the C2 Next initiative, which seeks to modernize tactical networks while avoiding vendor lock-in and ensuring future-proof scalability.

– Cybersecurity Features: Voyager implements robust security protocols to protect sensitive data, safeguarding networks against cyber threats. This is particularly important for both TRIK and ITN, where secure, resilient communication is required to ensure the mission’s efficacy and safety in the field.

Supporting DoD & Army Modernization with Klas Solutions

– NGC2 (Next Generation Command and Control): Voyager enhances commanders’ decision-making capabilities by aggregating real-time data into a comprehensive battlefield view, providing the multi-domain integration and situational awareness central to the NGC2 program. The Voyager systems, powered by VoyagerVM 4.0, enable AI and data analytics capabilities needed to support complex battlefield decisions in real time.

– C2 Fix: Voyager’s ability to bridge legacy and modern systems ensures that gaps in communication and operational interoperability are resolved. The Voyager Tactical Radio Integration Kit (TRIK) directly addresses the communication integration needs of C2 Fix by providing seamless interoperability between older and newer radio systems, ensuring that legacy systems can continue to function alongside modernized networks.

– C2 Next: As the Army shifts towards multi-domain operations with C2 Next, Voyager’s modular, vendor-agnostic infrastructure and scalable architecture directly support this transition. Klas technologies enable continuous communication and decision-making, even in contested environments, aligning perfectly with C2 Next’s goals for future C2 systems that provide uninterrupted operational capabilities.

– Tactical Radio Integration Kit (TRIK): Klas Government’s TRIK-M solution is a natural fit for the TRIK program, providing network and computing capabilities while integrating tactical radios for unified communication. By connecting tactical radios from different vendors and systems, the TRIK-M solution enables unified voice, video, and data communication across units.

– Integrated Tactical Network (ITN): The flexibility and resilience of Voyager’s communication capabilities align perfectly with the goals of ITN. Voyager’s mesh networking, satellite connectivity, and deployable design ensure secure, reliable communication, even in complex, degraded network environments. Additionally, T2C2 Ultra-Light (GRRIP Kit) supports the ITN vision by offering remote units secure access to classified networks, providing voice, video, and data applications in rugged, deployable form factors.

C2 Now: Next-Generation Demonstrations at AUSA 2024

At AUSA 2024, we will showcase our latest cutting-edge technologies that drive C2 modernization directly aligned with these Army initiatives:

– VoyagerVM4.0 – Expansion GPU & NAS: The VoyagerVM 4.0 features a high-speed PCIe Gen 4 expansion interface. It can be used as a standalone server or expanded to include NVMe storage and GPU modules to meet various requirements. This enterprise-grade server is also powered by the current Intel Xeon D and supports AI and cognitive services, providing limitless use cases for NGC2, C2 Next, and IVAS. At AUSA, we will demonstrate how key partnerships enable integrated, mission-critical solutions for the Army’s modernization efforts.

– Voyager Tactical Radio Integration Kit – Manpack (TRIK-M): This system provides network and computing capabilities while integrating tactical radios for unified communication and data sharing. This directly supports TRIK and ITN by enabling secure, resilient communications across different platforms.

– T2C2 Ultra-Light (GRRIP Kit): A rugged, fly-away solution based on a dual-enclave kit (DEK) that provides secure remote access across classified networks, supporting small teams in voice, video, and data applications. This kit supports ITN and IVAS, offering soldiers and field units a reliable, secure communication solution for high-demand missions.

– KlasOS Keel & Blackrock: KlasOS Keel, a Linux Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) hypervisor, runs multiple workloads on a single platform. Paired with Blackrock, it provides centralized asset control and automation, enabling users to provision in a single day and monitor networks for optimal performance.
